Aloka inks deal with RFA Medical

Ultrasound developer Aloka of Wallingford, CT, has signed a co-marketing agreement with radiofrequency ablation firm RFA Medical of Fremont, CA.

Under terms of the deal, the companies will combine efforts in promoting their respective medical devices used for ablation procedures. RFA Medical's HS-RFA bipolar RF ablation device uses Aloka ultrasound technology for guidance and placement.

Each company will retain direct control of the sales process for their respective devices.
