CIVCO launches biopsy guides for Philips ultrasound

Ultrasound and radiotherapy products provider CIVCO Medical Solutions has released five needle guidance systems for use with Philips Medical Systems transducers.

The Ergo C5-2, C6-3, V6-2, V8-4, and X3-1 multiangle needle guidance systems are designed to work in conjunction with biopsy software on Philips HD11, iU22, and EnVisor ultrasound platforms, according to CIVCO of Kalona, IA.

The guides feature a larger funnel for instrument insertion and will accept a full range of needle sizes, including 8.5FR and 14-23GA, CIVCO said.
