Siemens unveils Web-based CE program

Siemens Medical Solutions said it has developed a Web-based e-learning program comprised of self-administered tutorial courses that focus on disease-centric segments including cardiology, oncology, neurology, and women's health. The program provides eligibility for continued medical education (CME) credits offered by the American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA), according to Malvern, PA-based Siemens.

Modalities addressed in the program include angiography/x-ray, CT, MRI, PET, and radiation therapy, the company said. Web-based e-learning sessions focusing on cardiology will begin this month with segments on mammography, oncology, and neurology to follow, Siemens said.
