Advanced Magnetics posts Q2 increase in losses

MRI contrast developer Advanced Magnetics reported that although its revenues rose for the 2006 fiscal second quarter, it had an increase in net losses.

For the period (end-March 31), the Cambridge, MA-based firm recorded revenues of $714,000, an uptick compared with revenues of $612,000 reported for the same period in fiscal 2005.

The company reported a net loss of $5.1 million for the quarter, compared with a net loss of $3.3 million for the same period last year.
