UltraSPECT launches new SPECT package

Nuclear medicine firm UltraSPECT of Merrick, NY, has added a new SPECT package to its product line.

Xpress3.Cardiac cuts acquisition time in half and doubles the image resolution of gamma cameras, according to UltraSPECT. Scan times are three minutes for stress tests and less than five minutes for rest exams. The hardware platform is based on a quad-core CPU that can be connected to a gamma camera workstation's network.

Along with UltraSPECT's Xpress.Cardiac and Xpress/Xact.Bone products, Xpress3.Cardiac is exclusively distributed in the U.S. by Cardinal Health of Dublin, OH, UltraSPECT said.
