Gamma camera probe developer Neoprobe introduced a new gamma detection probe at the American College of Surgeons annual meeting in Chicago.
The probe employs Bluetooth wireless technology to communicate gamma radiation counts to Neoprobe's neo2000 control unit, according to the Dublin, OH-based firm. Available with either a straight or angled detection tip, the probe can be used with all existing models of neo2000, Neoprobe said.
