SNM taps Conti as president

Dr. Peter Conti, Ph.D, will serve as president of the Society of Nuclear Medicine (SNM) until June 2006. Conti is a professor of radiology, clinical pharmacy, and biomedical engineering at the Keck School of Medicine at the Los Angeles-based University of Southern California (USC). He is also the director of the Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Imaging Science Center at USC.

In other SNM news, Dr. Martin Sandler of Nashville, TN, was named president-elect, and Dr. Alexander J.B. (Sandy) McEwan of Edmonton, Alberta, was named vice president-elect.
