E-Z-EM to fight Tyco lawsuit

Contrast and virtual colonoscopy developer E-Z-EM said that it has been sued by Tyco Healthcare Group in a U.S. district court in Texas.

Tyco is alleging E-Z-EM's Empower CT and Empower CTA injector systems infringe a Tyco U.S. patent concerning medical fluid injectors, according to E-Z-EM of Lake Success, NY. E-Z-EM president and CEO Anthony Lombardo said that the company intends to vigorously defend the suit.
