Siemens marks 5,000th Somatom Emotion install

Siemens Medical Solutions reported that it has installed its 5,000th Somatom Emotion CT system.

The benchmark installation occurred at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, AL, according to the Malvern, PA-based Siemens. The 379-bed facility installed a 16-slice version of Somatom Emotion, the second such placement of the product at the institution, Siemens said.
