MRI contrast developer Epix Pharmaceuticals of Lexington, MA, reported lower revenues for the fourth quarter of 2008, but higher overall revenues for the fiscal year.

The firm had revenues of $3.8 million in the fourth quarter (end-December 31), a 35% decrease compared to $5.9 million in the fourth quarter of 2007. But for the year, the company booked revenues of $28.6 million, a 46% increase compared to the $15 million in revenues it posted for the prior fiscal year.
