Pie Medical changes name to Esaote Europe

Italian medical device vendor Esaote has changed the name of its Pie Medical Equipment subsidiary in Maastricht, Netherlands, to Esaote Europe.

The name change reflects the expanding role of the Maastricht facility in Esaote's operations, particularly in Western Europe, according to Esaote. Esaote purchased Pie in 1998.
