Vital Images, R2 form alliance

Advanced visualization software developer Vital Images of Plymouth, MN, and computer-aided detection (CAD) developer R2 Technology of Sunnyvale, CA, have signed a three-year sales and marketing agreement.

The companies will jointly sell R2 Technology's ImageChecker CT Lung CAD software integrated into Vital Images' recently released CT Lung visualization option. The new agreement will also allow for closer collaboration in sales and marketing, according to the firms.
