CT-guided bronchoscopy developer superDimension of Herzliya, Israel, introduced its superDimension/Bronchus system at the European Respiratory Society (ERS) Congress in Vienna. The device enables accurate and minimally invasive navigation of the lungs in real time and on a 3-D CT roadmap, thus increasing both the success rate and applicability of diagnostic bronchoscopy, according to the firm.
The product is fully compatible with any standard bronchoscope and bronchoscopic tool and its use involves no significant change to the traditional method for performing bronchoscopy, said superDimension.
