North American Imaging Technology Products will no longer produce its Aspect Mini Imager multiformat video film camera. The Auburn, CA-based firm said it decided to phase out Mini Imager due to decreasing demand for wet film-based video imaging, as well as a growing trend towards DICOM network printing and filmless clinical environments.
NAI anticipates that Mini Imager will remain available through July 1, and the company will fill orders after that depending on stock availability. The company will continue to provide spare parts and repair services through its Auburn production center.
