Fuji debuts Synapse 3D software

Fujifilm Medical Systems USA is highlighting its Synapse 3D advanced visualization software at this week's annual American College of Cardiology (ACC) meeting in Atlanta.

An internally developed software application, the work-in-progress Synapse 3D is an advanced visualization package that will be directly integrated into the Synapse cardiovascular image management application, according to the Stamford, CT-based vendor. It supports a range of cardiovascular-specific image analysis applications such as CT angiography (CTA), cardiac function analysis for CT/MR, and cardiac fusion for CT/nuclear medicine and coronary angiography, Fuji said.

It also includes calcium scoring, 3D ultrasound, and 3D/4D reconstruction, Fuji said.
