Vital vet Wood joins Vida

Advanced visualization software developer Vida Diagnostics of Iowa City, IA, has hired Susan Wood as its president and CEO.

Wood comes to the company from Vital Images of Minnetonka, MN, where her last position was executive vice president of marketing and technology. At Vida she is replacing John Garber, who led the company in its early stages as it sought to commercialize quantitative imaging software for the analysis of pulmonary diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, and lung cancer.
