Cedara Software launches Cedara B-CAD

The Cedara Software division of Merge Healthcare has released Cedara B-CAD 1.0 to assist in the analysis and reporting of breast ultrasound studies.

B-CAD is designed to assist radiologists in the analysis of breast lesions using ultrasound images. The product provides tools for automatic image analysis, segmentation, and classification.

Mississauga, Ontario-based Cedara has installed B-CAD in several North American facilities, including Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago; Sally Jobe Breast Center in Greenwood Village, CO; and Weinstein Imaging Associates in Pittsburgh.
