Advanced visualization software provider Vital Images of Minnetonka, MN, has added to its executive ranks.
The company named Susan Wood as executive vice president of marketing and clinical development; Philip Smith as executive vice president of corporate development; and Steven Canakes as executive vice president of global sales.
Wood most recently served as chief operating officer of image analysis software developer Medicsight of London. Smith has been serving as vice president of marketing and corporate development at Vital Images since February 2004, and Canakes has been vice president of sales at the company since March 1998.
