Spanish researchers score big in RSNA awards

Researchers from Spain received 29 awards for their digital posters at the recent RSNA 2019 meeting in Chicago, according to an announcement posted on 11 December by the Spanish Society of Medical Radiology (SERAM).

The various awards included three magna cum laude prizes and two cum laude prizes. Spanish researchers made up 10.7% of all magna cum laude winners, 2.8% of all cum laude winners, and 7.7% of all certificate of merit recipients at RSNA 2019. Of note, no other European group received a magna cum laude award at the conference.
