X-ray and radiation therapy technology developer Xstrahl introduced its XSight image-guidance device for radiation therapy at this week's American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) meeting in Chicago.
The XSight image-guidance device. Image courtesy of Xstrahl.XSight works in conjunction with Xstrahl's Concerto oncology information software to display fixed or moving images before and after radiation therapy for skin cancer and other dermatological conditions, according to the vendor.
The new device is available for purchase with Xstrahl's 150 kV and 200 kV radiotherapy systems and can also be retrofitted to most of the company's currently installed radiotherapy systems.
