Xstrahl has introduced CIX1, a benchtop irradiator designed to make radiation accessible to research labs.
The company said the irradiator's use of its x-ray tube provides higher power, a minimal footprint, internal cooling, and no special power requirements. CIX1 also delivers energy up to 160 kVp, is self-contained, and plugs into a standard outlet with no additional shielding or cooling required, Xstrahl said.
