Instrumentarium and AmeriNet extend agreement

Finnish imaging vendor Instrumentarium announced that St. Louis-based group purchasing organization AmeriNet has extended its purchasing agreement with the company’s Milwaukee-based subsidiary, Instrumentarium Imaging, for a further two months.

The agreement allows AmeriNet members access to Instrumentarium mammography equipment at special prices through February 2001. The company has made its Performa and Alpha RT mammography systems, as well as its Diamond breast care system, available to AmeriNet.

In addition, Instrumentarium has added its Delta 32 TACT 3-D breast imaging system and Delta 32 digital stereotactic system, which recently received FDA 510(k) clearance, to the purchasing program.
