Nortech sells off imaging division

Display firm Nortech Systems has found a buyer for its Imaging Technologies division, marking the vendor's exit from the medical imaging business. The Minneapolis-based firm sold the unit to Computron Display Systems of Mount Prospect, IL. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

An earlier agreement to sell the division to monitor firm Image Systems fell through last month. With the divestiture now complete, Nortech plans to focus on its contract manufacturing business.
