The research included 40 patients and showed a 73.1% reduction in tremor at five-year follow-up, as well as sustained quality of life and functional ability from baseline imaging, according to the firm.

The study was sponsored by Insightec and conducted at eight facilities in the U.S., Canada, South Korea, and Japan. Its results were published in August in the Journal of Neurosurgery.
