At its annual meeting in San Antonio this week, SNM announced it has raised $5.2 million to support education, research, and advocacy efforts in advancing molecular imaging into the clinical setting. The initial goal was $5 million.

Contributions came from both SNM and corporate members.

The program is carried out jointly with SNM's Education and Research Foundation (ERF) to fund outreach to referring physicians and patient groups, support clinical studies and small trials, and offer research grants and fellowships to advance new medical developments.
