In2Bones' ortho planning software gets FDA nod

By AuntMinnie.com staff writers

September 1, 2021 -- Bone and joint restoration product manufacturer In2Bones has received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its Orthoplanify orthopedic surgical planning software and 3D cutting guides.

The software integrates patient CT scans and x-rays, enabling surgeons to modify, adjust, and manipulate the placement of In2Bones' Quantum total ankle system implant prior to surgery. During surgery, the system's 3D-printed cutting guides aim to allow for precision bone cuts and more accurate implant alignment.
