IBA takes order from Kan.

July 9, 2019 -- Proton therapy developer Ion Beam Applications (IBA) will install its Proteus One compact intensity-modulated proton therapy system for the University of Kansas Health System.

The contract includes a long-term operation and maintenance agreement and an option for a second Proteus One unit in the future.

The healthcare system plans to begin construction later this year on a proton therapy center on its main campus in Kansas City, KS.
