July 13, 2018 -- The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) has published revisions to its recommended method for measuring and reporting PET performance parameters.

NEMA's publication, NEMA NU 2-2018: "Performance Measurements of Positron Emission Tomographs (PET)," includes two new tests: measurement of time-of-flight (TOF) resolution for TOF PET scanners and co-registration accuracy between the CT and PET components of hybrid PET/CT scanners.

NEMA NU 2-2018 is available as a download or in hard-copy format for $108 on the NEMA website.
