April 17, 2019 -- Israeli artificial intelligence (AI) software developer Aidoc has received $27 million in a series B funding round led by Square Peg Capital, elevating its current total funding to $40 million.

The venture funding follows the analysis of the CT scans of 1 million patients in hospitals across the globe using Aidoc's software analysis tool based on deep learning, the company said.

Aidoc has also announced it will launch AI software for analyzing images in the field of oncology and extend its current software to apply to examining time-sensitive conditions on x-ray.
