Prior to Abiomed, Howley spent 20 years at GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., where he served most recently as general manager for the Americas X-ray and Interventional Radiology division.
His career at GE also included the general manager's post for the Clinical Information Systems division, as well as the position of Americas sales manager of functional and molecular imaging.
