DRAXIMAGE® DTPA & DRAXIMAGE® MAA together provide you:

  Flexibility of Use
For use with Planar, SPECT, and low-dose SPECT/CT imaging1
For the evaluation of PE and other pulmonary pathophysiologies associated with airway disease2
Quality Images
V/Q SPECT acquisition has high sensitivity (96%) and high specificity (97%) in the diagnosis of PE3
DTPA allows for multiple projections of the lung, leading to fewer non-diagnostic scans4
  Proven Safety
Delivers low radiation dose for PE evaluation when compared to high-dose CTPA4
For patients with sensitivity to iodinated contrast and renal insufficiencies, V/Q provides a crucial alternative to CTPA4-5
V/Q delivers a vastly lower radiation dose to the female breast than CTPA5

“...it is clear that the V/Q scan should
be the initial investigative tool in
patients with a normal or close to
normal chest radiograph”5
Functional Lung Imaging continues to
be a proven diagnostic approach for
the evaluation of pulmonary disease1,
provides diagnostic accuracy3,
and can reduce radiation exposure4.

DRAXIMAGE® DTPA (Kit for the Preparation of Technetium Tc 99m Pentetate Injection)

Indications and Usage:  Technetium Tc 99m Pentetate is a radioactive diagnostic agent indicated for: • Brain imaging in adults • Renal visualization, assessment of renal perfusion, and estimation of glomerular filtration in adult and pediatric patients • Lung ventilation imaging and evaluation of pulmonary embolism when paired with perfusion imaging in adults and pediatric patients.

Important Safety Information:  This product is contraindicated for patients with hypersensitivity to any component of this product. Inhalation of Technetium Tc 99m Pentetate solution may result in acute bronchoconstriction, especially in patients with heightened bronchoreactivity.

DRAXIMAGE® MAA (Kit for the Preparation of Technetium Tc 99m Albumin Aggregated Injection)

Indications and Usage: Technetium Tc 99m Albumin Aggregated Injection is a lung imaging agent which may be used as an adjunct in the evaluation of pulmonary perfusion in adults and pediatric patients. Technetium Tc 99m Albumin Aggregated Injection may be used in adults as an imaging agent to aid in the evaluation of peritoneovenous (LeVeen) shunt patency.

Important Safety Information: For Intravenous Use: DRAXIMAGE® MAA should not be administered to patients with severe pulmonary hypertension or persons with a history of hypersensitivity reactions to products containing human serum albumin.
