DataFirst and Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas have partnered to offer interoperability and DICOM routing tools integrated with Konica Minolta's Exa PACS and RIS and Exa Teleradiology platforms.
Now available are Exa Gateway and the Exa DICOM Engine, powered by DataFirst's Silverback platform, according to Konica Minolta.
Exa Gateway is a configurable routing solution that offers simple to complex image routing, automated study workflow, a study cache for expedited resends, and a web-based interface for configuration and monitoring.
Exa DICOM Engine is designed to be an interoperability hub featuring prefetch and rules-based processing for defining criteria for message handling, suited for teleradiology practices managing DICOM workflows.
