PACS vendor Sectra saw a jump in order bookings for the first quarter of its 2020-2021 fiscal year, but that didn't translate into profit, the company said in an interim report.
For the first quarter, Sectra posted net sales of 298.9 million Swedish Krona ($34.2 million U.S.), down 10% compared with net sales of 332.8 million Swedish Krona ($38.1 million) in the same period the year before. The firm's profit before tax was 21.4 million Swedish Krona ($2.5 million), compared with a profit before tax of 30.6 million Swedish Krona ($3.5 million) in the same period the year before.
However, the revenue due to increased order bookings of 157% will be recognized in other quarters, Sectra said.
