Neurostar will emphasize expansions to its Virtual Radiology Network (VRN) service.
Via a joint venture with Templeton Readings, Neurostar is launching RadExpertOpinion.com, a service that provides radiologists with Internet-based subspecialist consultations as needed, according to Neurostar of Atlanta. The service is powered by Neurostar's VRN and Virtual Radiology Community (VRC) Web site.
Neurostar has also expanded VRC, adding support for medical transcription services and 3D image processing labs. These companies, and those in need of such services, will now have an opportunity to connect with one another using the site's service listings and bulletin boards, Neurostar said.
Neurostar is also introducing eStore, an online portal where medical professionals can configure a VRN service and sign up for it electronically. Existing customers can also use eStore to add services or purchase accessory equipment, according to the firm.
