Heart Imaging Technologies

Heart will shine the spotlight on its WebPax line.

WebPax accepts DICOM images from any medical imaging device and converts them to Web pages, according to the Durham, NC-based firm. It processes and stores images within minutes, allowing for personnel to access them via the Web using any Internet browser, the company said. It can also handle all cardiovascular modalities.

WebPax can integrate with existing HL7-complant medical record and user ID systems, according to the firm. It can be customized based on user needs, ranging from an individual practice to an entire hospital, Heart said. Users can also arrange images.
