EBM will present a range of PACS products on the RSNA show floor.
EBM's UniSight workstation software allows for viewing of DICOM-compliant images and data from multiple modalities, according to the Honolulu-based firm. Key features include multiple monitor support, hanging protocols, the ability to save user profiles, and cross-modality juxtaposition of images such as ultrasound and mammography, as well as MRI and CT, EBM said.
Users can employ visualization and navigation tools such as multiplanar reformatting (MPR) and find intersecting lines. Images can also be exported to a CD/DVD or printed to a DICOM printer, EBM said.
A mammography option makes use of hanging protocols and user-defined viewing options; current patient and prior studies can be simultaneously viewed and compared. Annotations on computer-aided detection (CAD) images can be enabled or disabled, allowing radiologists to diagnose images independent of CAD marks, EBM said.
UniServer provides image storage and serves as the connection between HIS/RIS applications and UniSight. The Windows NT-based offering is HL7-compliant, allowing for integration of patient demographics, scheduling data, and diagnostic reports, EBM said.
The standard edition of UniServer supports 25,000 studies a year, while the enterprise edition accommodates unlimited studies. It includes support for automatic image routing, DICOM worklist, DICOM association log, and various compression settings, according to the vendor.
EBM will also showcase its UniWeb Web-based image distribution tool. UniWeb 3C includes three concurrent user licenses, while the enterprise version comes with 10 concurrent user licenses.
