Orex will show off its PACS market entrant, Or-PACS.
The Auburndale, MA-based computed radiography firm will debut Or-PACS, a DICOM-compliant image analysis, communication, and archiving software package. Or-PACS comes in different flavors specialized for radiology, orthopedic, and radiation therapy applications, Orex said.
Or-PACS integrates both acquisition and PACS functions, while providing remote image archiving and communications, Orex said. Viewing stations, dual high-resolution monitor support, CD-ROM burning, and short- and long-term storage are also provided. The company said it will sell Or-PACS as a standalone product, as well as bundled with all of its CR units.
