Nuance Communication has launched a new AI dictation tool, PowerScribe Smart Impression, built on the foundation of its PowerScribe platform.
Nuance describes Smart Impression as a radiology “copilot.” It automatically creates natural and accurate wording of draft impressions, helps users avoid common mistakes, and offers reminders of important information to include, according to Nuance. Users of this new copilot feature report saving up to a minute per report creation.
Nuance noted that Smart Impressions is currently in limited use, with a broader rollout to customers in 2024.
