GE Healthcare reported that it had the highest number of authorizations of artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled medical devices on a recently updated list released by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The list includes devices authorized by the administration through 510(k) clearance. GE Healthcare said that 42 of its AI devices are on the list, including its Air Recon DL for MRI, its Critical Care Suite 2.0 for mobile x-ray, and its Voluson 22 for ultrasound.
