Healthcare information systems firm Meditech and Google Health plan to collaborate on integrating Google Health's search capabilities into Meditech's Expanse electronic health record (EHR) platform.
Meditech will use Google Health tools to create a cache of health data that will then be accessible to Expanse EHR users.
The initiative will start as a pilot project, the company said. It plans to highlight the collaboration at the 2022 Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) meeting.
