The rapid evolution of multidetector-row CT (MDCT) provides the radiologist with unprecedented capabilities to acquire high resolution CT datasets. The development of the 64-slice MDCT scanners provide the capability for subsecond data acquisition of isotrophic datasets. This course addresses the pronciples, exam techniques, and clinical applications in 3D imaging and CT angiography with a special focus on new applications like CTA and cardiac imaging.
