This course is designed to provide a one-day comprehensive review of the current state-of-the-art of cardiac CT imaging. A series of lectures will be provided with ample time for questions
and discussion between the speakers and audience. The course is designed to provide a basic understanding of cardiac CT, beginning
with coronary artery anatomy, understanding how to perform a cardiac CT scan, as well as how to interpret a cardiac CT scan. We will also focus on areas beyond the coronary arteries, including an
understanding of current new applications for cardiac imaging. The role of cardiac CT in the ER setting, as well as patient triage management, will be discussed. Applications, including acute aortic
syndrome and pulmonary embolism evaluation, will be discussed.
