Women's health and imaging is continuing to change because of newer technologies including conebeam imaging and MR screening for high-risk patients. This conference will provide an updated overview of current trends and discuss new developments in women's imaging. Discussions with previous faculty members and authorities in the field recommended including hands-on experience with multimodality breast imaging workstations. Additionally, we learned that healthcare professionals in women's health and imaging do not understand the need for and benefits of productivity and workflow changes required when operating in a paperless and film-less environment. Also, we learned that many attendees need to understand the basics or ABCs of getting started in a digital environment. The educational methodologies planned for this conference should enable participants to refine and expand their use of current imaging and treatment technologies in their clinical practice.
