Steps to safer sedation during interventional radiology
The use of interventional radiology procedures is growing as an alternative to more invasive and costly open surgical procedures. But these procedures are also becoming increasingly complex, especially those that require procedural sedation and anesthesia. Members of the Association for Radiologic and Imaging Nursing offer some tips in this column.
