Computer-aided detection firm R2 Technology has tapped Michael Klein as president and CEO. Klein, who will begin working full-time on May 22, has more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry, most recently as general manager of the oncology products group at Varian Medical Systems. In his new role at R2, Klein will work with former president and CEO James Pell, who will apparently stay on with the Los Altos, CA-based firm.
