Laser-based breast imaging device developer Imaging Diagnostic Systems has hired Dr. David Richter as medical director of clinical trials. Richter, who has been in private practice for 23 years, comes to IDS with considerable breast surgery experience, according to the Plantation, FL-based firm. Clinical trials of the company’s CTLM system are underway at two sites, and the vendor hopes to submit the results to the Food and Drug Administration in early fall.
