Zonare hires Southard

Ultrasound technology developer Zonare Medical Systems (formerly Novasonics) has appointed Donald Southard as president and CEO.

Southard comes to the Mountain View, CA-based firm with more than 20 years of medical device experience, most recently serving as president of Datascope's patient monitoring business. Before Datascope, Southard served stints at Philips Medical Systems, Toshiba Medical Systems, Elscint, and Serviscope. By AuntMinnie.com staff writers
