AIUM to host online lecture on work-related musculoskeletal disorders

The American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) is hosting an online lecture on preventing and remedying work-related musculoskeletal disorders.

This one-hour event will be led by Charlotte G. Henningsen and Yusef Sayeed, MD, and will be held February 8.

Attendees will learn about the history and prevalence of work-related musculoskeletal disorders in sonography, as well as basic ergonomic principles of ultrasound scanning. Attendees will also learn about mitigation strategies and administrative controls to support reduction of these disorders.
