NAS gets nomosSTAT install

Radiation therapy firm North American Scientific said that its Nomos radiation oncology division has placed its first nomosSTAT Encore system at Finger Lakes Radiation Oncology in Clifton Springs, NY.

The Chatsworth, CA-based NAS reported that it has partnered with Radiation Oncology Systems of San Diego and Acceletronics of Exton, PA, to offer nomosSTAT Encore as an affordable radiation therapy system for serial tomotherapy intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT). The Nomos IMRT products are bundled with a renewed linear accelerator and service to provide a complete, turnkey serial tomotherapy IMRT treatment system, according to the company.
