Radiation therapy firm North American Scientific reported fiscal second-quarter revenues of $8.1 million, down 12% compared with the $9.1 million posted in the second quarter of 2005.
For the period (end-April 30), the Chatsworth, CA-based firm had a net loss of $3.6 million, compared with a net loss of $3.9 million last year.
The revenue decrease was due to reduced intensity-modulated radiation therapy/image-guided radiation therapy (IMRT/IGRT) service revenue, NAS said.
